For skilled migration you need to have a occupation that appears on the skilled occupation list – Skilled occupation list. if you do then the process for independent skilled migration is
1️) Skills Assessment – This is conducted by an assessing body for your occupation. You’ll need to provide proof of employment and qualifications. If you haven’t taken an English test for migration, you may need to book one to claim points. (British passport holders are exempt but can gain additional points with a high score.)
2️) Expression of Interest (EOI) – Once we have your skills assessment and all supporting evidence, we submit an EOI for each visa/state you are eligible for. The waiting time for an invitation varies based on points, occupation demand, and state priorities. Some invitations take months, while others may take longer or may not be issued at all. (There is an age limit of 45 for this visa) and the whole process is not something we can put a timescale on.
3️) Visa Application – If you receive an invitation, you can then apply for your visa.
If you believe you meet the criteria, please send us a copy of your CV to cai@aumigrationgroup.com.au
