417 Australia Working Holiday Visa

The 417 working holiday visa is open to citizens that hold a valid passport from one of these countries/jurisdictions: Belgium, Canada, Republic of Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan (other than an official or diplomatic passport), The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (including British National Overseas passport holders) and be within the age limit for your passport country. Not have any character or health issues and although you can work in Australia you must have enough money to initially : support yourself while you are in Australia and leave Australia at the end of your stay – This is usually about AUD5,000 for your initial stay, plus the fare to where you are going after leaving Australia.

You must be outside Australia when you apply for this visa and when we decide your application. Once granted you must have adequate health insurance for your stay and can only work for each employer up to a maximum of 6 months.
